A fabulous Yew wood and Elm Stick Back Hooped Windsor Chair striked with makers mark "Amos Grantham" Circa 1820. A super form with a crinoline stretcher and fine turned legs. Rich warm colours with a lovely ware to the arms and seat. Good sturdy condition consistent with age and ware, two old sympathetic spliced repairs. A great looking chair.
